When you use Foray we may collect account info (email, password (hashed), display name, profile photo, optional bio); activity (posts you save, venues you follow, friend requests, going/here check-ins, private notes); and device data (standard server logs, IP address, browser type, and with your permission approximate location for the Near Me filter).
To run the service (authenticate you, show your feed, deliver notifications), to improve the product through anonymous aggregate usage analysis, and to enforce our Terms and address abuse.
We rely on Supabase for database, authentication, and storage hosting; Cloudflare for delivery of the web app; and Plausible for privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics (no personal data collected). We don't sell your personal information.
Access and export: contact us to request a copy of your data. Correction: edit your profile from the Settings page. Deletion: "Delete account" in Settings permanently removes your account and data. Privacy controls: the privacy_going setting limits who can see your check-ins.
Foray is not intended for users under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If we make material changes we'll surface a notice in the app.
